How to Make a Mocha Nut Martini Cocktail: Craft Recipe & Expert Tips

A Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting the Ultimate Serve.

A mocha nut martini cocktail served in a cocktail glass garnished with coffee beans and a purple edible flower

A sophisticated dessert cocktail that delivers on every level, rich, indulgent, and full of beautifully layered flavour. Frangelico hazelnut liqueur is the star of the show, bringing a distinctly nutty warmth that underpins the entire serve. Mr Black's rich cold brew coffee liqueur adds depth, sweetness, and a pleasantly bitter edge, while crème de cacao steps in to soften the intense dark roast with welcome cocoa and vanilla notes. Ketel One Vodka ties everything together cleanly, letting the dessert flavours shine without distraction. A sophisticated alternative to pudding that is guaranteed to impress your dinner party guests.

Story behind the Serve

Frangelico is one of the most distinctive bottles behind any bar, a monk-shaped vessel inspired by the legend of Fra Angelico, a Christian monk said to have crafted unique liqueurs from wild hazelnuts and herbs in the hills of Piedmont, Italy, over 300 years ago. You only need a little of it for that signature nutty hit, which makes it one of those ingredients that quietly elevates everything it touches. Paired here with Mr Black, Australia's celebrated cold brew coffee liqueur, made with real Arabica coffee, and smoothed out with crème de cacao, this is a Martini built for the end of a great evening.
