Back in 2020, while the world was on pause and bars were locked tight, I found myself missing the simple joy of a great cocktail with good company. The living room became the dance floor. Kitchens and gardens became cocktail bars. And suddenly, “a quiet one at home” was the new night out.
I’m Drew, the founder of The Cocktail Tribe, and during that time, I spotted something beautiful happening. People grew tired of waiting for bars to reopen; they were getting creative. From DIY margarita nights to birthday parties in back gardens, cocktails were becoming the centrepiece of connection.
That’s when I had an idea: What if could bring the bar to you?
So I launched a mobile mixologist service (with private bar hire) built to travel, shake, stir and serve wherever the party was. I wanted to help people celebrate safely and in style!
Fast forward to now, The Cocktail Tribe has grown significantly. We’ve partnered with top brands like Beeble , One Gin and Kopparberg to create unforgettable tasting experiences and campaigns. And we’ve stepped boldly into the corporate events space, because let’s face it - no one remembered the spreadsheet, but they do remember the espresso martini.
